Sunday, June 4, 2017 - Beautiful inky deep purple color. Mocha, spice, blackberry, violets on the nose. Supple smooth, tons of dark blue and black fruits... that just keep going... some black pepper. Medium acid, medium tannins. Amazing mouthful that I just have to swish it around.

6/5/2017 9:21:00 AM - Decanted just a few minutes before we first tasted and drank over 90 minutes. Flavor profile changed a bit, and I'd certainly decant if I had the time, but both times I've had this wine it's been straight out of the bottle and it drinks very well.
