Monday, June 5, 2017 - Nose: Nice nose with dark cherries, chocolate and leather notes. Then a bit of green pepper, perfume of ripe blackberry/licorice. Palate: Ripe black cherry and soft plum notes are accented with cedar, earthy notes and leather. Reminded me of a mature St. Estephe a bit on the palate. Finish: Dense with rich aging fruit notes and a bit of toffee and herbs.

I honestly expected a bit more from this, but I look forward to the 86 which is supposed to be a step up.
