Saturday, June 10, 2017 - 2017-06-10: A bit austere and backwards tonight. Sealed with Argon gas and will revisit in a couple of days. Could be slightly corked but not sure. No score.

2017-06-19: Well, after more than one week sealed under a veil of Argon gas, the wine totally sings from the glass. All the backwards reductive tones are totally gone. The nose now boasts of deep intense dark fruit accompanied by fresh flowers, orange zest, classy cedar wood, dark chocolate and a slight tone of raspberry jam. The palate is just adorable with profound balance and a soft, velvety like end-palate. Tannins, fruit and acidity are perfectly integrated, but this effort has a lot of structure and texture. It will last for a long time given proper rest in the cellar. A total treat tonight!
