Monday, July 31, 2017 - Paired with bone-in Veal Parm at Chef Vola's (that's a 1st for me!) and it went really well. PnP but then let it sit while we had appetizers and waited for the main coarse. Dark purple, pronounced flavors, blackberry, licorice and a little forest/notes. Had a little bite and a nice finish. It will get better with a couple of years of age but it was drinking well and was well worth opening. A really nice bottle.
