I opened it, and it smelled like sour apple juice and vinegar. In examining the bottom of the cork, there were more cracks and grayish slimy mold. I didn't taste it because the smell was very overpowering and bad. So disappointed. I'm not sure if it was my fault with storage, because I have had this bottle for quite some time. I don't have a proper cellar, so it's possible the climate was too dry.
