Wednesday, August 30, 2017 - Tasted at the Westin St. Francis Chateau Montelena Tasting Room in Downtown San Francisco, nose of dried black berry, red and black cherry dried fruit, some Irish oak barrels used for this wine, no longer Estate fruit as vines are over 40 years old and lack tonnage, same on the palate, medium/big body, fairly fruit forward, juicy and tasty fruit, touch simple for me, long finish.
