Monday, September 25, 2017 - I do not understand the high ratings for this wine. Decanted for two hours after an initial taste suggested seriously muted nose and flavors. Paired with steak and a huge mistake. Medium weight with tannic bite offset by bright acidity and red currant flavors. Not well-balanced and no appreciable Cab depth. In fact, tastes more like an inexpensive Chianti.
