Wednesday, October 18, 2017 - A private lunch (Restaurant Jamavar *, London, UK): Pale golden colour with amber reflections; lovely yeasty intensity on the nose from the Marc, accompanied by notes of candied fruit, honey and blonde caramel, hint of grain whisky; fresh and juicy palate, elegantly sweet, very good flavour complexity (spiced strawberries and peach, lemon peel, honey, plums, figs, warm spices); elegant finish, fudge, very good length.
