Monday, October 30, 2017 - The nose is pretty but offers few specifics. It's offers three elements in pleasant balance: savory elements, peppery spice and ripe red fruit. The body is medium in stature with juicy acidity and round, soft tannins. The flavors are beautifully specific, with strawberries, raspberries, wet Earth, white pepper and sage. The finish is unfortunately a bit hot, though it only dampens rather than ruin things.
