Tuesday, November 21, 2017 - Tasted blind. This is very reminiscent of Rayas with its rush of red fruit, thyme, and spice. Broad-shouldered and muscular, yet shows whimsy and refinement. Very long and drawn out, then coaxes the consumer to keep coming back for more. The purity of the red fruit and the middle palate are legendary. Drink 2018 - 2038.

On a side note, this is a top ten winner for Wine Spectator, and I for once could not agree more. What a classic Gigondas
