Sunday, November 26, 2017 - This Pinot is bright, garnet in color with amber-brick hue at the edges. The body is light. Being a light bodied wine, it moves around the glass quickly and sheet down the inside of the glass once the motion stops. No sediment. The wine exhibits soft aromas of fruits and florals. Also picked up some minerals. The flavor profile seemed soft with some nice fruit/berry flavors. The wine was a a bit tannin forward - overall, I felt the wine was young and will continue to improve with time. The winery describes the finish as firm, tart and grippy - I would agree with that description.
