Tuesday, December 5, 2017 - Took a flyer on a value-selection from the folks at K&L. WA gave it 94--do I care? Not really, but I rarely see a 14-dollar bottle getting scores that high. So I grab 6 bottles before it runs out.

Unmistakable warm-weather Syrah-blend from the south of France. This wine is very floral and ripe, but it still maintains balance with ample acidity and tannins. Enough structure to pair with proteins and enough playfulness to be a standalone sipper. Great QPR. Glad I bought six; but I should have bought a case.
