Thursday, December 7, 2017 - This was our 3rd bottle. It was much better than the last one that was probably defective. I let it breath ~3 hours then poured. It is a little earthy on the nose and dark purple in the glass. It has dark cherries on the front, a little mint and cedar like others noticed. More mineral than fruity with a reasonable 13.5 % alchohol. Lingering dark fruit and some sour notes here and there. Tannins are now tame and not objectionable.
Overall a drinkable and pleasant wine but not one I would plan to buy again.
