Saturday, November 25, 2017 - WOTN. What a great cabernet! Dark, opaque, purple/black color with a ruby/garnet rim. Complex nose of violets, tar, mint, blackberries, and black cherries. Tastes very flavorful and New World with blackberries, currents, plums, and figs. Lots of secondary flavors of graphite, leather, orange peel, and vanilla present A perfectly balanced wine with a very long smooth finish, intense flavors, and complexity. It is elegant and polished, with a rich mouthfeel and good weight. So big and muscular, yet so smooth. Although mature, this wine still has years left.
