Saturday, December 9, 2017 - This bottle was interesting.
We decanted the bottle, but started drinking immediately upon opening, and it was wonderful.
Balanced, smooth. Good aroma, nice finish.
A great blend -- not big and bold and overpowering.
So, I was very pleased.
I only poured a fairly small amount in my initial glass, and then poured another glass about a half hour later.
It was as if the wine had died. Just bland.
There were a half dozen people drinking, so the wine did not last long enough to see how it might evolve over the next hours.
But I would definitely recommend that you drink immediately upon opening.
