Sunday, December 24, 2017 - Brought this to a Christmas Party last night.

Brown Brothers' wines played an important role in my wine education/ journey so tasting this wine was like meeting a long lost friend/ lover. Dark purple in colour with notes of blueberries, redcurrant, oak and cassis on the nose.

Shiraz-Cabernet, a unique blend from Australia, is always an interesting (and somewhat challenging at times) proposition and Brown Brothers got it right for this wine. On the palate the wine is rounded, smooth and delicious.

Some ripe berries with a touch of latte, cigar and oak. The balance is delicate and tannins well resolved at this stage. Drinking nicely now with no doubts it will further evolve if given more time in the bottle and in the cellar.

Bought this during a sale at a decent price. Get more of this wine if you can.
