Saturday, February 3, 2018 - Medium deep black cherry red, some staining, showing its age a bit - nice to contrast with the Continuum, as it showcases the diff between Napa fruit and WA fruit - less cassis here, more tar, coffee, and umami - certainly some oak spice influence too - palate is also more earthy, coffee, tar mixed with fruit that is mildly roasted plum (in a good way) - in balance, not hot - has mature, secondary notes for sure, this is quite lovely. Perhaps just a bit roasted/oaky for my palate, but still very nice. No rush but I suspect the fruit aspect has commenced its slow decline.
