Sunday, March 11, 2018 - This is the best bottle I've had of this, and I think it has finally reached its peak. Blackcurrent, plum and cedar dominate with a deep aromatic nose. On the palate the wine is fully mature with musty old leather underpinning the fruit, but still with a satisfying tannic bite to remind you what you are drinking. There is great depth and a lengthy finish. It benefits from time in the decanter, and should stay at this level for the next 2 to 3 years.
