Friday, March 16, 2018 - Lot numbers for this wine are very important. I bought a case of one lot that to me clearly had sulphur notes. I was in touch with European Cellars (very responsive)and JM Lafage (extremely friendly) personally. I sent two bottles to European Cellars and they sent a bottle back to JM Lafage to have his team taste it. JM Lafage found the wine different but conforming to the wine specs "Nous n avons pas rencontré de réduction. Nous n avons donc pas trouver de non conformité malgré le fait que j accorde à dire que le style est différent du 2014." Having said that, I bought a case of another lot from the same vintage and it has none of what I tasted as sulphur compounds. It is 90-93 and, as other vintages, a bargain for the quality.
