Sunday, September 7, 2014 - This is the straight Bourgogne, not the Les Grands Champs. Decanted for 2 hrs. Pure fruit aromas of tart cherry and cranberry, a hint of dirt and bark. Palate follows in an elegant lithe, almost delicate package. Citrus/grapefruit with mild tannins in mid-palate to a lingering finish of tart cherries, cranberries and grapefruit. Nicely done.
