Tuesday, April 29, 2008 - Drank with Runny at Zambuca at the Pan Pacific Marina Hotel in Singapore. The restaurant has an incredible list of older Australian fine wines that extends to over 10 pages. Unfortunately we were pressed for time before the restaurant closed and didn't do the selection justice. Deep translucent ruby colour. Lovely nose; light uplifted notes of clove, red liquorice and neutral shoe polish. Acidic and thin on the palate although still some fruit. Not much length. Past its prime.
