Sunday, April 29, 2018 - A good, enjoyable wine, but not the most outstanding Summa I have had. It’s not that it needs time as much as it needs that wild card that makes it a Summa. In other Summa’s there was always a difference maker in the flavor profile. This rendition doesn’t have that. Seems like a good quality Pinot, but not like other Summa’s I’ve had. Drink it, enjoy it for what it is. Similar in profile to many Bien Nacido Pinots I’ve had at a lower cost. If you like this style seek those out.
