Sunday, May 13, 2018 - I agree with Captain Haddock. ("Very much alive, no sign of oxidation though fully tertiary, quite earthy and rustic.") Similar experience here despite celebrating its 70th birthday. Fantastic provenance--Durand got the cork out in shockingly good shape. Fair amount of sediment as was to be expected--definitely try to stand it up for at least 48 hours prior to serving.
