Friday, June 22, 2018 - We've long loved the wines produced from grapes grown by the Maple family. Tom and Tina Maple are legendary and deservedly so. This vintage reveals all that caused their fruit to be so well regarded. Not over the top, but plenty of fruit and jam to tell you this is a Dry Creek Zin. It mellows over time and the sweetness is augmented by a nutty jam that isn't overpowering. We like it with strong foods - big burgers and pizza are great pairings. Each bottle we open is a tribute to this fine man and the tradition he represented.
