Saturday, May 24, 2008 - Amazing. Clear, light intensity red, with tawny edges. Clean, medium plus intensity aromas of strawberry, vanilla, charcoal, roses. Medium acidity, light tannin, medium body. Very silky mouth feel leads to flavors of roses, strawberry, cherry, mushroom-earthiness. Long finish. Entirely surprised by this wine having low expectations going in.
