Saturday, August 4, 2018 - Reading my tasting notes from previous bottles is always interesting. Perhaps none more appropriate than this wine. This is last bottle for me but wish I had more. I don’t expect this to improve considerably with more time but I would love to have this in 2023 just to see how it holds up.
Not really showing signs of aging or slowing down. Still has primary blue and black fruit profile. Some secondary characteristics, namely leather and tobacco are just starting to show.
Bottom line, great now and for the next 5-8 years. Wish I had more.
