In 2025 it will a great taste off, when we taste both to see which is the stronger wine. Interestingly, I was convinced that this was the 00 because of the strong graham and blueberry elements. So many QCs scream blackberry, this night, however, the 98 was all blueberry. I also found a touch of iodine on the nose. As expected the palate was very lush with a strong blueberry pie taste. The fruit is so strong that it overwhelms the structure. The only hint is a smoky, tannic finish.
