It was a nice bottle with the slightly rich body and trademark salinity that I associate with Vilmart Roses. However, like most Vilmart bottlings I've had, it's just missing an extra gear that makes the wine go from very good to great. It's a step above some champagnes in its price range (like Heidsieck or Roederer), but at this point in time, I'd rather shell out a bit extra for Billecart-Salmon.
