Friday, June 13, 2008 - 11:00 just opened. Lots of gamey, woodsy and truffles on the nose. The body is lithe but still has plenty of tannic backbone to it. Sweet crab apple dominates the palate. Tangy finish. Excellent. 1:00: Wood smoke and eucalyptus dominates the nose. Very inviting, intriguing. Still quite tart on the back end. Maybe has a while yet to open? Next day: really pretty, quite charming.
