Friday, October 19, 2018 - My first time seriously evaluating Chianti so my review should be taken for what it is as I do wonder if my palate isn’t quite there yet for this one or perhaps I drank this much too young. Some hints of fruit, tobacco and earth on the palate which is great because the nose was awful at first but opened up with some time. Medium body, tannins and acidity. Overall enjoyable and at $20 a bottle might pick up a bottle to put in the cellar for fun.
