Sunday, October 28, 2018 - Medium+ ruby. Black currant, cassis and toasted oak with violet (pretty prominent), baking spice and a hint of graphite. Medium tannins that come across fairly sweet with a low-medium acid. Definitely not a bad wine, but seems to be a victim of the vintage. As this wine opened up more the fruit came across a little stewed, something you would not expect from a 7-year old wine.
