Friday, November 2, 2018 - Some kind of magic - Mike Smith puts in his wines! This man is a master at new world Cabernet. Tasted the La Verdad at a surprise 50th birthday party. It was on the table with a popped cork, so guessing just an hour of air. Singing right out of the glass, leaping waves of graphite and dark boysenberry, gravely structure and a finish to last a life time. Fantastic! 99-100 points as I can't imagine a better Las Piedras wine out there. Thank you Mike Smith!
