Friday, November 16, 2018 - Blueberry and currant mask the cherry that I expected more from a Rioja, although it is still there. Pepper and spice in the middle with floral notes. An interesting chocolate / espresso finish yields a nice drinkable wine. We tasted it blind and actually guessed a cab at first due to the darker color of this wine than expected.
