Wednesday, December 19, 2018 - Deep ruby with slight garnet hue. On the nose cassis, black cherry and plum with charcoal, wood smoke and licorice. The smoky notes are quite prominent on this wine, however, they are balanced nicely with ripe Napa fruit. On the palate medium+ body with well integrated tannins. Long pleasing finish laced with some crushed gravel notes.
