Sunday, December 30, 2018 - Very meaty nose, with dense blackberry predominating. Rich, with the blackest of fruit and some leather on the finish. Lots of sediment and did not open up over the evening. Actually less complex than when it was young. Will try to decant and air out my last bottle - thanks to others reviewers' suggestions...

I can't believe it - I had this wine with - the same recipie leg of lamb and au gratin potatoes as 4 years ago ! (Not with any forthought.)
