Sunday, February 3, 2019 - I bought a case as a futures and this was my last bottle. Fill right above neck line but cork came out in two pieces. Lots of bricking evident. Nose of menthol, slight eucalyptus with hint of licorice and cedar. Palate of sweet oak core, small amount of dark fruit and black currants. Prior three bottles had much more fruit but the wine stayed drinkable for two days after opening. Enjoyable with grilled lamb chops and some chocolate brought out the licorice notes near the end. On to 1986!
