Saturday, February 9, 2019 - distinct brown tinge to colour but still alive, really positive surprise on the nose, fine black currant fruit, fresh, fine, complex, lovely; palate classic Chianti of medium weight, some acid still at finish, very good indeed and remarkable for a 30 year old Chianti, clearly the air conditioned cellar helped here, a very positive and somewhat unexpected experience, not on the slippery slope but why wait
