Sunday, February 24, 2019 - Popped about 1.5 hours before drinking. Aromas of cherry, tar, leather and matchstick. Flavors of cherry, currant, boysenberry and touch of black olive. Ends with a 20+ second finish with an iron note. This is more of a burgundy lovers chianti, more subtle than in your face. Probably needed more time and has the stuffing to benefit from a few years of aging.
