Friday, February 22, 2019 - The bouquet was wonderfully refined on the 2014 Valbuena, showing ripe cherry, red florals and sweet herbs, with hints of spiced orange. On the palate, I found a silky yet vibrant expression, as balsamic spices gave way to ripe strawberry, sweet spices and inner floral tones. The finish was long and lifted, resonating on its floral and spice persona, as hints of fine tannin settled upon the senses.
