Wednesday, November 16, 2005 - I brought this wine to Grossie's house yesterday for a dinner with Benchland. The theme was "winter wines". This was one of my favorite reds of the night. I bought it on sale for $28. This internationally styled Barolo was drinking very well now. Rose petals and red berries on the nose. Medium bodied with a solid color. Rather smooth and elegant with notes of sesame, cherry and anise. Should drink well for another 7-8 years. 92 points.
