Sunday, April 14, 2019 - Not unlike my previous note, but perhaps a step further in its development. Floral notes are more subtle, cherry and rhubarb much more pronounced. There is the faintest touch of sweetness to the fruit, has a very pleasant sour finish that balances everything. Tannins are hardly there, which makes this wonderful with venison. Still reminds me of something restrained and Italian.
