Wednesday, April 24, 2019 - (NB: I tasted all wines this night with a significant head cold.) Very nice nose. Biscuits and herbs. Almost like a proper English garden (power of suggestion?). Sweet cream. Touch of citrus. On the palate this is big and assertive. Quite tart some lemon and a bit rough. Smooths out well nice perfume. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 15/20. It's possible that I liked this more than I might have without my cold, since I was unable to get much nuance in wines and the rough style here pushed through my cold.
