Saturday, April 27, 2019 - 2nd label of one of my favorites, Cantenac Brown.

30+ minute decant and needed much more than that. Young and wound up. Dark purple color. Nose is much more Napa than Bordeaux. It contains cherries and oak. Palate is tight and lacks character. More easy drinking than similar Napa Cabs, but lacks the depth in fruit. Shortish finish.

Could be a decent QPR in a few years, but pretty much a standard £30 bottle of wine.
