Tuesday, April 30, 2019 - Its funny - with some wines you get a lot of bottle variation, but with this wine you get a lot of label variation! Do they offer a different label for each different market they sell into? Maybe behind the scenes lives a frustrated graphic designer? Just scroll through all the label pictures people have uploaded to get an idea of what I am talking about, lol.

Wonderful nose that yells at you, daring you to take a sip. Notes of cedar, tobacco, leather, spice, earth all saying we are Rioja. On the palate its dark, medium tannic, rich but the core of dark fruit is starting evolve away into something new. Balanced with enough acids to still give it heft and focus. Very nice and even better with food.
