Saturday, May 11, 2019 - Very new world in style, with big, ripe, sweet fruit and plenty of oak. And yet there's an unexpected minerally, sanguine edge that makes it dark and somewhat brooding. A bit sulphury too. Nice acidity. A heavy, muscular Pinot, but a bit more enigmatic and complex than many of this ilk.
