Monday, May 20, 2019 - dark purple almost black in the glass. a nose of black pepper and ripe fruit is appealing. This is a big wine with very ripe fruit that on one hand is interesting and with the right food like barbecue nice but on its own and after a glass or two I found it maybe a little over extracted and cloying.
