Friday, May 31, 2019 - Medium garnet. High alcohol. Off dry. Very acidic with heavy tannins that are not too sharp. Spiced plum and black cherry on the nose and palate. Also a hint of cocoa powder and green bell pepper on the palate. After eating meat thin crust pizza from Papa Johns, this wine opens up nicely with a smoky, heavily-spiced, tart blackberry mouth.
