Thursday, July 11, 2019 - This was a very good bottle. A bit backwards aromatically when I pulled the cork and poured a taste, but a half hour later the wine had come together beautifully. Pungent aromatically, with musk and soil inflected red fruit, very pure and fresh, and with good density and balance on the palate, which had real punch. It began to tail off after about 90 minutes - if I owned more I would drink it. A very lovely 96 and a good example of the potential of this vineyard.
