Monday, September 9, 2019 - From magnum. Dark purple to almost black in color, no signs of bricking on the rim. Intense menthol, anise and blackberry nose. Tannic and slightly drying finish under mouthful of black fruit. Notably less rich and lush as the 2009 magnums recently opened. Drink in the next 1-2 yrs to avoid tannic imbalance.
