Friday, September 13, 2019 - medium red, a bit translucent. aromas of cassis, cola and tar with a touch of menthol, black pepper and cardamom in the background. cherries and raspberries in the mouth with bits of cola, licorice and indian spices. supported by a pleasant dose of tannins and acidity after more than an hour's decant. still quite young and somewhat timid. should go well with lamb. after two hours' decant, more open, smooth and accessible. excellent bottle and worth the wait.
